Asparagus season is in full swing here in Oceana County, and this tasty and nutritious vegetable is available at our market! We get it from our neighbor, who is another family farmer, by picking it up at his field just after it has been picked. We rinse it before putting it in our cooler, so it stays fresh and crisp for you! Be sure to serve some asparagus to your family and guests this season. It’s delicious when steamed, grilled, or stir-fried. Try a new recipe for asparagus this year!

It’s time to get those last-minute Christmas gifts, hostess gifts, gifts for the pet-sitter, and the gift for that extra person who’s coming this year to your celebration! Our market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday (Saturday is Christmas Day!) through December 31. Pick up a few of our apples to enjoy between the sweet goodies you’ll be munching! We have a nice selection of filled gift bags for $10 and under, and a variety of ready-to-go gift baskets from under $20 to $100! If you want to select items yourself for a gift, remember to select a complimentary handmade gift tag with each gift that you purchase. (And if your gift items total $15 or more, you can select a free gift bag with coordinating tissue and bow to put them in!) We are trying to make your gift purchasing easy, so you can enjoy the holiday season with less stress! Our best wishes to you for a very merry Christmas and a new year filled with promise!
